with interest in the Resource Directory Update.
The
Chesterfield County Resource Directory, one of the first projects of
the CCCC, is designed to assist agency staff in finding resources
for clients. One of the original goals of the Coordinating
Council was to improve interagency education. The most
efficient, initial method was to publish a Resource Directory.
The process of putting together this publication was also a
significant collaborative effort. Staff of several agencies
volunteered time to solicit the information needed, design the
format, make it camera ready, and choose a printer. The
Chesterfield County School District provided the printing costs up
front trusting they would be reimbursed through sales of the
Directory. Seed money to fund the publication of updated
information was included in the initial cost of purchasing the
bright yellow, three-ring binder.
